August, 2021 sales ranking by China's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of Geely amounted to 79,904 units, down 16.10% year on year, the first on August, 2021 sales ranking by China's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Changan amounted to 70,456 units, down 9.74% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 694,170 units. August sales of BYD reached 67,630 units, increasing 90.46% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 366,926 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
