Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of FAW-VW amounted to 150,871 units, down 5.48% year on year, the first on May, 2022 auto sales ranking by all OEMs, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of BYD Auto amounted to 114,183 units, up 150.26% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 509,619 units. May sales of SAIC-VW reached 87,402 units, decreasing 20.54% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 448,639 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
