Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 225,674 units, up 111.92% year on year, the first on July, 2022 auto sales ranking by all brands, according to the July sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Toyota amounted to 166,637 units, up 8.68% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 1,054,779 units. July sales of BYD reached 162,214 units, increasing 184.71% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 805,420 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
