August, 2022 auto sales ranking by China's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD amounted to 173,977 units, up 157.25% year on year, the first on August, 2022 auto sales ranking by China's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Chery amounted to 103,746 units, up 126.52% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 552,755 units. August sales of Geely reached 81,201 units, increasing 1.62% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 629,648 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
