Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD amounted to 195,691 units, up 87.55% year on year, the first on March, 2023 auto sales ranking by all brands, according to the March sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of VW amounted to 173,081 units, down 4.32% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 439,907 units. March sales of Toyota reached 142,925 units, decreasing 14.39% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 370,706 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
