May, 2023 auto sales ranking by China's OEMs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD Auto amounted to 239,092 units, up 109.39% year on year, the first on May, 2023 auto sales ranking by China's OEMs, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of chery Auto amounted to 126,866 units, up 64.98% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 537,744 units. May sales of Changan Auto reached 120,221 units, increasing 43.70% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 624,324 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
