Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD amounted to 249,959 units, up 54.09% year on year, the first on July, 2023 auto sales ranking by all brands, according to the July sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of VW amounted to 168,475 units, down 25.35% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 1,136,373 units. July sales of Toyota reached 139,724 units, decreasing 16.15% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 948,768 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
