August, 2023 auto sales ranking by China's OEMs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD Auto amounted to 274,086 units, up 57.54% year on year, the first on August, 2023 auto sales ranking by China's OEMs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of chery Auto amounted to 156,016 units, up 21.63% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 962,873 units. August sales of Geely Auto reached 149,271 units, increasing 23.88% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 971,205 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
