Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 195,947 units, up 39.43% year on year, the first on January, 2024 auto sales ranking by all brands, according to the January sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of BYD amounted to 185,096 units, up 28.78% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 185,096 units. January sales of Changan reached 143,480 units, increasing 49.20% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 143,480 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
