Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 44,310 units, up 7.23% year on year, the first on May, 2006 sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Buick amounted to 22,748 units, up 66.03% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 100,731 units. May sales of Hyundai reached 18,649 units, increasing 216.35% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 92,894 units.
