Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 67,745 units, up 28.56% year on year, the first on December, 2006 sales ranking by all brands, according to the December sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Chery amounted to 38,079 units, up 72.94% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 295,991 units. December sales of Toyota reached 32,070 units, increasing 56.38% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 278,597 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
