Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 72,559 units, up 26.27% year on year, the first on April, 2007 sales ranking by all brands, according to the April sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Toyota amounted to 34,993 units, up 80.28% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 129,053 units. April sales of Chery reached 31,989 units, increasing 48.09% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 134,550 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
