Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 64,971 units, up 46.63% year on year, the first on May, 2007 sales ranking by all brands, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Chery amounted to 38,683 units, up 66.69% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 173,233 units. May sales of Toyota reached 28,487 units, increasing 79.86% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 157,540 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
