Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of SAIC-VW amounted to 42,273 units, up 63.21% year on year, the first on August, 2007 sales ranking by Joint Venture's OEMs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of FAW-VW amounted to 40,693 units, up 45.67% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 287,423 units. August sales of SAIC-GM reached 36,826 units, increasing 43.66% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 280,922 units.
