The insurance registrations of locally-made PVs in China totaled 1,709,753 vehicles in November, falling 11.4% from a year ago and increasing 4.6% from the previous month. Among the vehicles registered last month, 55,805 were for renting and leasing.

The Hongguang MINIEV was still the hottest-selling NEV model in China by Nov. insurance volume, outnumbering the runner-up Model Y by 15,000 units.

In October 2021, the insurance registrations of the Wuling Hongguang MINIEV stood at 47,810 units, surging 125.7% year on year, while also jumping 25.7% month on month, according to the CBIRC.
