Volkswagen China, JAC Motors and SEAT, Volkswagen’s Spanish car brand, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 28 in the presence of Chinese President Xi and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.

JAC Motors reported a year-on-year growth of 4.61% in August sales with 36,676 vehicles delivered in August. From January to August, the automaker handed over 326,842 vehicles in total, a year-on-year drop of 4.25%.

Chinese stated-owned automaker JAC Motors reported that its semi-annual revenues reaching RMB 23.709 billion, falling 6.34% year on year. The Jan-June net profits attributable to shareholders slumped 52.58% to RMB 163 million.
