Feb. 24 , 2016Gasgoo.com (Shanghai) - The SUV market continues to be dominated by compact SUV sales. According to statistics from Gasgoo.com (Chinese), a total of 3.52 million compact SUVs were sold in 2015, representing year-on-year growth of 36.0%. However, that year-on-year growth rate is far less than the average SUV market growth rate of 52.7%. Compact SUVs account for 56.1% of all SUVs sold in China in 2015, down 6.9 percentage points from the previous year.
Feb. 19 , 2016Gasgoo.com (Shanghai) - According to statistics from Gasgoo.com (Chinese), total Chinese SUV sales from January to November increased 51.5% year-on-year. The midsize SUV segment reflected those growth trends. A total of 816,843 midsize SUVs were sold in the country from January to November, up 48.0% year-on-year. Midsize SUVs account for 14.9% of all SUVs sold in the country over that time period, down 0.4 percentage points from a year ago. The midsize SUV segment still lags considerably behind the compact and small SUV segments in terms of total sales.

According to statistics from Gasgoo.com (Chinese), a total of 5.47 million SUVs have been sold in the country from January to November, representing year-on-year growth of 51.5%. SUV models accounted for 30.7% of all passenger automobiles sold in the country over the 11 month time period.
