FAW-Volkswagen has sold 1315 thousand units vehicles in 2016, increased 17.3% comparing with that of the previous year, among which Jetta, Bora and Sagitar made a contribution of 900 thousand units.

FAW-Volkswagen announced its 2016 sales during the New Year. It has had Volkswagen brand vehicles sold 1,315,188 units last year, 17.3% increased comparing with the 1,121,471 units of 2015.

Recent years have witnessed great changes in Chinese passenger vehicle market. A-class vehicle market, possessing the largest market share, greatest competition and most models, has become a main battlefield for all auto giants.
