According to Geely’s latest data, Boyue and Emgrand GS sell 8,142 and 4,600 units in June respectively, driving Geely’s sales volume to increase 41%. Geely has a total sales volume of 280,000 units in the first half of year, accomplishing 47% of the annual target. Geely sells 46,574 units vehicles in June, increasing 40.8% with the same period of last year and 2% with May. The single monthly growth has reached a new historical high.

Geely will publish a “L” series high-end brand with Volvo at the end of year. The brand is positioned between Volvo and Geely and the first new model will be SUV. Yang Xueliang, PR Director of Geely Group, admits that, “Geely will launch a new high-end brand, competing with SAIC Volkswagen and other joint-venture brands.”
