First batch of ZEEKR 001s for Europe rolls off assembly line

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- ZEEKR, the premium electric vehicle brand under Geely Auto Group, announced via its WeChat account that the first-batch ZEEKR 001s for the European market officially rolled off the production line at ZEEKR’s smart factory in Hangzhou Bay, Ningbo city on August 2. These vehicles are set to be shipped to Europe, marking the beginning of a new chapter for ZEEKR's European strategy.

According to ZEEKR’s official statement, the entire process from the announcement of the European strategy on April 18 to the pre-sales launch of the ZEEKR 001 and the ZEEKR X in Sweden and the Netherlands on June 28, to the birth of the first batch of the ZEEKR 001’s European version, took just 106 days.

Following the launch in the Netherlands and Sweden, ZEEKR will soon enter other core markets in Western Europe such as Norway, Germany, Denmark, and France.

Additionally, ZEEKR said is actively exploring markets in more countries and regions around the world.

In Sweden and the Netherlands, the ZEEKR 001 starts at €59,490 (around 472,000 yuan), while the ZEEKR X starts at €44,990 (around 357,000 yuan).

ZEEKR will adopt a direct sales model in Europe, with the first batch of offline direct stores set to be established in Stockholm, Sweden, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands, by the end of the year, and entering most of Western European regions by 2026. To comprehensively meet user demands, ZEEKR will provide European customers with a brand-new luxury experience through a one-stop service covering financial policies, energy replenishment systems, after-sales support, and Internet of Vehicles.
