Hafei to unveil three new models at Beijing auto show

Shanghai, April 8 (Gasgoo.com) Hafei Automobile is scheduled to launch three new models at the upcoming Beijing auto show. The automaker will also display other four models and an engine product.

The seven models to be displayed at the show are Luzun Dabawang (Big Conqueror), Luzun Xiaobawang (Small Conqueror), Hafei Lobo π AMT, Saibao V sereis, Saibao III series CVT, the new Saima, and Minyi II. Of these Hafei models, the Small Conqueror, Lobo π AMT and new Saima are unveiled to the public for the first time.

The Small Conqueror vehicle, almost 4 meters long, features the newly-developed chassis and delivers stable performance. The model is a luxury mini-bus designed and made to cater for the market demand for "big minicars."

The energy-efficient Hafei Lobo π AMT is the latest edition of the Lobo series. It carries on the tradition of energy-efficiency and meets the National IV Emission Standard after the engine upgrade.

Hafei, based in Northeast China, has more than 500 distributors, more than 100 sales offices and more than 300 resident marketers across the country. In 2007, the two-year-old automaker sold 44,800 vehicles, accounting for 0.84% of China's auto market.

Hafei is reportedly in merger talks with Dongfeng Motor, Nissan's partner in China.
