BAIC Yunnan New Base Completed，MPVs/ SUVs Will be Put into Production

Shanghai December 29th, 2016 Gasgoo - BAIC Ruili is a strategic base for southwest which is invested jointly by Beijing Auto group and Jing Cheng group. Since settled in 2013,it has been in the early stage of construction and equipment debugging stage. Netcom agency learned from BAIC’s official: BAIC’s industry base project in Yunnan Ruili has been finished, in the  future it will launch MPVs, SUVs, pickup trucks and  refitting vehicle series products, plan to launch an annual production of 150 thousand vehicles.

Yunnan Ruili industry base project covers an area of nearly 2000 acres, planning a total capacity of up to 150 thousand vehicles, a total investment of 3.6 billion Yuan. The first phase investment of 1 billion Yuan plans a production capacity of 50 thousand vehicles, based on MPVs, SUVs, pickup trucks and  refitting vehicles, the mass production would be achieved in March 2017. The 2nd phase investment is 2 billion Yuan and the spare parts and logistics project investment is 600 million Yuan.

In the future BAIC Ruili will also be based on the product advantage of Beijing auto group, with the combination of its own geographical position, develop models with local characteristics. In June this year, on the fourth CA-EXPO held in Yunnan Kunming and the 24th session of Expo Kunming trade fair, BAIC Ruili showed many new models, including the pickup trucks Daoda K9, Daoda V2, V8 and BJ40L.

BAIC Ruili's first model is a MPV models, which is expected to be named as Daoda V8.The appearance design takes example by the design elements of Toyota Alphard.

In terms of the interior part , the car’s instrument panel is symmetrical type design. On the selection of material, the car uses leather, piano paint, metal plaque, configuration of a button to start and central control screen.

In terms of the motivation, the car carries a 2.4 -liter naturally aspirated engine from mitsubishi, maximum power of 110 KW, peak torque of 218 meters. In terms of transmission system, it matches a 4AT automatic transmission.
