Volvo and other 7 auto companies face senior management team adjustments at the beginning of year

Since the beginning of 2017, 8 auto companies have adjusted their senior management team in a period of less than 50 days, mainly preparing for higher sales targets.

FAW Toyota has a total sales volume of 658,800 units in 2016, growing 6.6% year to year. In January, 2017, FAW Toyota made adjustments to its management team and invited Mizutani Masashi to fight for the 2017 annual sales target of 670,000 units.

Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company also announced for the new personnel change. The Vice General Manager Zhou Xianpeng is appointed as Vice President and Party Committee Member of Dongfeng Auto. Wang Jinning, Chief Minister of Manufacturing Headquarters will take position as Vice General Manager of Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company.

On January 12th, Zheng Jie was appointed as COO of FAC China and FAC GEC member, and his position of FCA President stays unchanged. Previously, Zheng Jie had led the company to launch three domestic Jeep models, increasing sales volumes greatly.

Luxury brands also meet great changes. Volvo has invited Sun Yiwen, Minister of Marketing Department in Dongfeng Citroen to take the position as Senior Marketing Communications Director of Volvo China Sales Co., Ltd since January 23th, 2017. Volvo Group also appoints Yuan Xiaolin to take in change of businesses in Asia-Pacific area.

JLR China and Chery JLR co-announced important personnel assignments on January 11th, in which Wei Furan will cooperate with Hu Jun to take in change of the Joint Market Sales and Service Agency.

Self-independent brands are mainly preparing talents for marketing business. BYD announced Wang Chuanfang and Ren Lin to be Vice President, while Lu Hao will also take position as Vice General Manager of BAIC BJEV.

There is also news with no official confirmation that Dongfeng KIA, Lexus China will announce personnel changes afterwards.
