Changan Plans to Have Car Production and Sales Surpass 3.3 Million Units

Shanghai March 23rd, 2017 Gasgoo – According to the production and marketing bulletin announced by Changan, it has completed a production and sale of 224,538 and 225,751 units respectively this February. As for self-owned brands, Changan sold 105,622 units cars last month, continuing to be the NO.1. As for new energy cars, Changan has sold 2,164 units in February and 3,746 units during the past two months.

According to the record chart of investor relations announced by Changan on March 10th, the company plans to have its car production and sales surpass 3300 thousand units this year.

Changan will continually list 10 new models and 15 models of the year like brand new SUVCS95, CS55, Sedan C301, MPVV301, and pure electric CS15EV and so on.

As for new energy cars, Changan will mainly develop pure electric driving vehicles, and then develop technology platform for PHEVs and pure electric vehicles. It will list 24 new products with three phases and have sales surpass 4 million units and achieve the “6543” goal of Changan new energy cars. While for core technologies of new energy, Changan is to achieve a goal named “6321”.

Changan has cooperation with many Chinese and foreign battery enterprises, with cells provided by suppliers and battery pack integrations completed by independent research and development of Changan. In the future, the company will exert itself to promote the production capacity of battery system integration to meet the development of new energy cars.
