Concept Car "Jeep Yuntu" expose GAC FCA Announce Lineup of Shanghai Auto Show

Shanghai, April 13rd, Gasgoo - Recently, Jeep announced a new concept car for China market "Jeep Yuntu", which will make its debut at the Shanghai auto show. At the same time, GAC FCA also announced Rubicon Recon, the commemorative edition of Wrangler and 2017 edition Jeep Cherokee, and Chrysler will bring concept car model Portal.

The concept car "Jeep Yuntu" is Jeep’s first model for China market, it is a prototype of the next generation of Jeep SUV products. But from the overall outline, the concept car maintains Jeep’s  tough style. It is reported that the car will represent Jeep’s trends in security, new energy, interconnection and automatic driving.

The appearance of Rubicon Recon is very rough. The new model will provide 32 inch tires and 35 inch tires are optionally available. In terms of power, Rubicon Recon will be powered by a 3.6L V6 naturally aspirated engine, with maximum power of 209kW and peak torque of 347Nm. In terms of transmission, the new car will be equipped with 6-speed manual or 5-speed tiptronic gearbox.

Chrysler’s concept car Portal is officially unveiled at the 2017 consumer electronics show. It is powered by electricity and is equipped with a 100kWh battery pack, under the condition of full power , the maximum mileage may reach up to 402 km.

As the continuous development of China market, the major international manufacturers are paying more attention to Chinese consumers’experiences. If "Jeep Yuntu" can be put into mass production in the future, it will potentially become the new sales growth point of GAC FCA.
