Hybrid Kinetic Motor to begin mass production in 2020

Shanghai, July 26, Gasgoo - At Geneva International Motor Show 2017, Chinese electric-car startup Hybrid Kinetic Group revealed H600, the first eco-sustainable electric drive concept model, built by Hybrid Kinetic and Pininfarina. At the subsequent Shanghai Auto Show, another two concept models - K550 and K750, also made their debut.
As a response to the concern about the company's production and marketing time, its CEO, Xu Jianguo, told reporters that Hybrid Kinetic Motor will begin mass production in 2020 and that the market price of the production model is expected to be about 200,000 yuan. Actually, before production, Hybrid Kinetic has to solve two problems: the location of production base and the application of production qualification.

It is reported that Hybrid Kinetic Motor has negotiated with more than 30 local governments all over the country about the base settlement. "Many local governments has given favourable conditions and we will decide on the final location within two months." Xu Jianguo said.
As to the market channel, Xu Jianguo suggested a distribution mode that is totally different from existing ones. In his view, as a bulk commodity, vehicles are depreciating as soon as they enter into consumers' onwership. In the future, vehicles' ownership and right to use should be separated. Users only need to pay certain fee to use a vehicle.

Hybrid Kinetic has set up a R & D team with more than 400 people. The branched R & D team in the USA is in charge of the development of core parts, such as electric motor and battery and the European branch is responsible for design.
