MAXUS to sell 100,000 units with 50% growth next year

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- In the 7th year of its establishment, MAXUS still maintains double-digit growth. This is incredible. But what is even more marvellous is that in 2018, the motor company strives to achieve 50% growth at its new MAXUS speed.

MAXUS’s various businesses are fully blooming this year. The data show that from January to December this year, it sold a total of 61,700 vehicles of various types, a year-on-year increase of 46%. And domestic sales are 54,200 vehicles, an increase of 50%. In the light passenger vehicle market, a total of 24,800 vehicles have been sold.

Earlier this year, both the domestic and overseas sales of pickup truck also continue to expand. Xu Qiuhua, general manager of MAXUS Motor added that the T60 pickups were sold out of stock in foreign markets in Australia, New Zealand and South America after their overseas launching.

Lan said that the sales goal for next year is to break 100,000 at about 50% steady high-speed growth, which will be announced at the company’s dealers conference.

According to Lan, there will be growth in the light passenger market next year. On the one hand, the lower price of light passenger vehicles can meet some of the needs of traditional Japanese light passenger customers. On the other hand, the use of use new technologies will attract some of the original customers who previously are not interested in light products.

Lan told reporters that MAXUS will not change its goal of being the top in the light passenger industry in 2018. In the next two years, the company will launch new-gen V80, which will also hit European market to meet the European regulatory standards. By then, its product portfolio will be more abundant, forming a wider coverage of the wide-body light passenger market.
