Shanghai (Gasgoo)- According to the source from Beijing Municipal Commission of City Management, 112,600 charging piles had been built in Beijing. NEV owners now can enjoy the charging service in every five kilometers within sixth ring road. This move is believed to help improve the convenience of NEV charging and popularize NEVs.

According to a staff member from one charging station, these newly-built charging piles adopt direct current to charge NEVs. He also said that it will spend one hour to charge an ordinary family new energy sedan with charging fees less than RMB 40.

It is said that the newly-built charging stations all adopt new standards, which boast high-quality safety. At the same time, Beijing also offers an App for customers to search the charging piles and pay the charging fees via the App.
