Hozon Auto partners with Harmony Auto to develop smart travelling solutions

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- EV maker Zhejiang Hozon New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., (Hozon Auto) and China Harmony New Energy Auto Holding Limited (Harmony Auto), whose businesses primarily cover the sales of motor vehicles and the provision of vehicle-related services, agreed on June 25 to conduct cooperation in such areas as branding, products, marketing, after-sales services and financing and jointly develop new boundless automobile retail business models, according to Hozon Auto.

In accordance with the agreement, Harmony Auto will play an important role in expanding marketing channels and narrowing the gap between products and services for Hozon Auto by virtue of the innovation in service, sales channels and business models.

Besides, both parties aim to offer users a variety of smart travelling solutions with a user-centric marketing mode and an innovative retail model integrating online and offline resources.

Hozon Auto stated that the latest cooperation breaks the boundary between the EV maker and the automobile dealer and is critical to achieve a win-win result for the development of mobility services, digital marketing and tailor-made services.

Hozon Auto is going to kick off on June 27 the construction of its vehicle plant in Yichun, a prefecture-level city of China's Jiangxi Province, the EV maker said via its official WeChat account.

Involving a total investment of RMB5 billion and covering an area of 500,000 square meters, the Yichun base is scheduled to start production at the end of 2020 with a planned capacity of 100,000 vehicles on an annual basis.

Besides, the EV maker has already rolled out two production models—the NETA N01 hit the market in last November and the Hozon U all-electric SUV is set to go on sale at the end of this year.
