Gasgoo.com (Shanghai) - Gasgoo.com has released their award list of ten most talented managing directors in the Chinese automotive industry. Award recipients come from top auto part companies, Sino-foreign joint ventures, state-owned enterprises and private businesses.

Since Chen Yudong's appointment as China President in January 2011, Bosch (China) reported stable performance growth. Adhering to its 'made in China to serve China' marketing strategy, Dr. Chen led Bosch to increase localization rates for the company's production, R&D and management operations. During this process of increased localization, Bosch established a full value chain that fosters cooperation with partners from all across the industry. Frank Wang, Global Vice President and Asia-Pacific Region General Manager of Delphi (China) Corporation's Electronic and Safety Operations, is also Managing Director in charge of the department's Electronic Control Product Business. As the person responsible for Delphi's Electronic and Safety Operations in the Asia-Pacific Region, Frank Wang,has guided his department to follow the company's development principle of 'safety, environmental friendliness and connectivity'. Mr. Wang has constantly encourage increasingly localized production, R&D and talent in the Chinese market, with the goal of introducing and developing state-of-the-art safety, electric vehicle-use and entertainment system products in the country. He is also an advocate of Delphi's 'easy to work with' corporate culture, which encourage increased innovation with the goal of providing a richer selection of products to meet customers' requirements. Mr. Wang is a member of the Global Planning Committee for Delphi's Electronic and Safety Operations.

Mr. Shan has been especially active in the B2B and B2C businesses. Zhang Yilin, Automotive President of Schaeffler Group China, has worked in a variety of technological, sales and management roles during his career, including testing engineer, project manager and marketing director. Since his appointment as Automotive President in 2004, Dr. Zhang has used his unique knowledge, management expertise and rich experience to boost Schaeffler Group China's automotive businesses, whose annual sales volume increased over 30-fold from 2004 to 2012.

David Cue is the Vice President and General Manager Original Equipment Advanced Power Solutions Asia, Johnson Controls. Mr. Cue has over 20 years of experience working in the automotive industry, with eight of those years being involved with hybrid powered and pure electric vehicles. He currently focuses on technology R&D work and commercial expansion of new energy vehicle batteries. The group he is in charge of possesses a comprehensive understanding of consumer technology needs, which ensures the future development of Johnson Controls' products in the automotive battery market.

Guo Huijun, Vice President of TRW Automotive's Asia-Pacific Branch, is in charge of sales and business development in the China region. Prior to his appointment to this role, Mr. Guo already possessed a very rich background in sales and management work in the automotive industry. In his three years at TRW Automotive, Mr. Guo has led his team to make some remarkable accomplishments. Mr. Guo has promoted the development of automotive safety products, especially electronic assisted steering and electronic braking, as well as increased the safety technology level of own brand vehicles. Robert Pyle is the President of Dana Holding Corporation's Asia-Pacific Branch. Mr. Pyle possesses a substantial amount of experience acting as a leader, with a large amount of that experience focused in management of auto part manufacturers in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining Dana, he served as General Manager of Yanfeng Visteon Automotive Trim Systems, a Visteon joint venture in China. Before that, he was Vice President of Corporate Development of ASIMCO Technologies. Under Mr. Pyle's leadership, Dana succeeded in establishing both a technology center and an aftermarket distribution center in Wuxi, as well as releasing the Spicer Rui Ma brand and its full range of axle, transmission and  driveshaft products. This series of products has been fully designed and manufactured in China for Chinese customers. Dana reported double-digit sales growth in the Asia-Pacific region in 2012.
