Under the agreement, Emil Frey Group will serve as Farizon's distributor in Switzerland, marking the Chinese new energy commercial vehicle brand's official entry into the Swiss market.
The move represents another milestone in Farizon's broader global expansion strategy as Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturers accelerate their push into Europe's fast-growing zero-emission transport sector.
Founded in 1924 and headquartered in Zurich, Emil Frey Group is one of Europe's largest and longest-established automotive dealership groups.
The company operates across multiple sectors including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, and motorcycles, representing around 50 international automotive and mobility brands through its extensive European distribution network.
Through the partnership, Farizon plans to leverage Emil Frey Group's established dealership channels, aftersales infrastructure, and market experience across Switzerland and Europe to accelerate product rollout, customer operations, and localized market development.
The companies said they aim to provide European commercial fleet customers with low-carbon, intelligent, and high-efficiency logistics solutions while jointly building a new energy commercial vehicle ecosystem tailored to European market requirements.
Farizon has expanded rapidly in overseas markets in recent years, with its business now spanning more than 60 countries and regions worldwide.
In Europe, the company currently operates in over 28 countries and has already launched a regional spare parts warehouse to support local operations. Farizon officially introduced its brand in Germany and France at the end of April, and the Switzerland entry is expected to further strengthen its European footprint.
The company views Europe as a key strategic region as it works toward its long-term target of achieving annual global sales of 1 million vehicles by 2030.
Looking ahead, Farizon said it plans to deepen strategic cooperation with Emil Frey Group while leveraging the broader global resources of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.
The company aims to continue expanding across Europe and other international markets through technology innovation, ecosystem partnerships, and electrified commercial mobility solutions, positioning itself as a growing player in the global new energy commercial vehicle industry.
