Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 19, Black Sesame Technologies, a leading automotive-grade computing SoC and SoC-based intelligent vehicle solution provider, announced a strategic collaboration with specialized smart vehicle developer StarJourney Intelligence. This partnership aims to deliver cost-effective commercialized solutions for the autonomous driving.

Under this collaboration, Black Sesame Technologies emerges as the SoC chip partner for StarJourney Intelligence, integrating the Huashan® A1000 series chips into the StarJourney DR low-speed vehicle series. This collaboration sets its sights on setting benchmarks in the low-speed unmanned vehicle domain, catering to applications in delivery logistics, security inspections, outdoor retail, and various other scenarios. The inaugural product of this platform, the unmanned logistics delivery vehicle DR-2, made its official debut at the Auto Guangzhou 2023.
Powered by the Huashan® A1000 series chips, the StarJourney Intelligence DR-2 excels in multiple areas like multisensory fusion, environmental perception, and autonomous path planning. The chip offers versatile interfaces including multi-channel PCIe, USB, enabling flexible integration with cameras, radars, LiDAR, and various sensors. Additionally, it provides an open, easily adaptable software toolchain, ensuring reliable environmental perception, planning, decision-making, and control capabilities for the StarJourney Intelligence DR-2.
