Focusing on the Longmen Industrial Park, the project aims to create a seamless mobile service model centered on "Vehicle + Road + Cloud + Station + Area" for public transportation scenarios. It establishes a 17-kilometer driverless operating route with two smart bus stations and deploys nine Sharing-Buses for public service. Additionally, a 2-kilometer experiential route around the Lin'an Logistics Center includes one smart bus station and introduces one unmanned Sharing-Bus.
These Sharing-Buses, jointly developed by Dongfeng Sharing and Dongfeng Special Vehicle Co. Ltd., possess Level 4 autonomous driving capabilities. Equipped with multiple high-tech sensors such as LiDAR, radar, and high-definition cameras, they can perceive environmental conditions within a 260-meter radius, navigating complex traffic scenarios with remarkable technological sophistication.
Upon arrival at stations, the automatic doors of the Sharing-Bus will open for passengers to board the spacious interior accommodating up to nine passengers. Operating at a smooth speed of 30 km/h, the vehicles maintain stability throughout the journey. Each vehicle during the trial period includes a safety officer onboard, although the vehicles operate entirely autonomously, with the officer intervening only in emergencies. The remote backend assistance remains vigilant, ensuring driving safety at all times.
As a leading enterprise in the intelligent connected automotive chain, Dongfeng Sharing actively explores novel public transportation mobility services. Expanding beyond Wuhan, it has commenced operational deployments in 15 provinces and 35+ cities nationwide, including Xiong'an New Area, Suzhou, Chongqing, Ordos, and Xiamen.
