Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 13, RoboSense said its robot-related business delivered a breakout performance in 2025, with LiDAR shipments reaching 303,000 units for the year. The company retained its top position in the segment, posting year-on-year surge of 1,141.8%, a sign of both rapid market expansion and its strengthening leadership in robot perception technologies.

To support a broad range of robotic applications, RoboSense has rolled out several flagship LiDAR products that are now being deployed at scale. These include the second-generation solid-state E1 Gen2, the Safety Airy 3D safety LiDAR, and the ultra-compact Airy Lite. At the CES 2026, the company partnered with smart lawn-mowing robot brand NAVIMOW to unveil the Navimow i2 LiDAR, a new mower integrating advanced hardware such as the E1R, significantly enhancing both navigation and obstacle-avoidance capabilities.

Beyond lawn-care robots, a growing number of leading robotics developers—including AgiBot, Noetix Robotics, NEURA and KMAMMOTION—have adopted RoboSense LiDAR as the core sensing component in their products, further reinforcing its position as a preferred supplier across multiple robot categories.

RoboSense is also moving beyond pure sensing hardware to build integrated "hand–eye–brain" capabilities for robots. At the CES 2026, its embodied intelligence demonstration robot, dubbed the "delivery assistant," drew wide attention. Operating without human intervention, the robot autonomously completed complex, long-range tasks such as unpacking, transporting items, taking elevators and making deliveries. Over roughly 20 hours of continuous operation during the show, it executed more than 4,000 actions with an almost perfect success rate, underscoring its robustness and ability to generalize across tasks.

According to the company, this performance was enabled by its fully self-developed VTLA-3D end-to-end action foundation model and embodied intelligence solution. Built on a full-stack AI architecture, the system combines end-to-end manipulation and mobility with the broader RoboSense AI platform, which spans core components, model training, data collection and a continuous data flywheel. Paired with in-house hardware such as high-degree-of-freedom dexterous hands and the Active Camera series, the solution creates a closed loop from perception and decision-making to execution, allowing robots to operate autonomously and deliver human-like dexterity in scenarios ranging from last-meter logistics to industrial and service applications.

Since formally adopting an "AI plus robotics" strategy in early 2025, RoboSense has steadily built a comprehensive AI technology stack spanning chips, hardware and algorithmic models. This approach has helped partners secure wins in various competitions and has also led to deep collaborations across sectors such as robotic lawn mowers, autonomous delivery and humanoid robots.
