During the launch event, Dr. Li Liyun, XPENG’s Vice President and Senior Director of the autonomous driving team, confirmed that the P7+ will now come standard with end-to-end AI smart driving functionalities, eliminating the need for additional packages, subscriptions, or fees. This means that the P7+ model will not off different Pro or Max versions.
The AI Hawkeye Visual Solution under XPENG’s AI smart driving system relies on a light LiDAR, light map system, and is the first in the industry to use single-pixel LOFIC architecture. It excels in low-light, high-contrast, and backlight environments, with its core strength lying in XPENG’s cloud-based large model.
XPENG’s cloud-based large model has 80 times the parameters of its in-car system, with extensive training aimed at covering long-tail scenarios to deliver a robust L3 smart driving experience. By 2025, XPENG aims to reach over 10 EFlops in computing power, enabling faster, broader data processing.
