Shanghai, June 22 (Gasgoo.com) Recently, the world's largest ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) manufacturer, the United States Polaris Industries, announced that it may launch its local production program in China in cooperation with Beijing Automobile and Motorcycle United company (BAM).

After signing a strategic cooperation and distribution agreement with BAM, an subsidiary of Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co. Ltd. (BAIC), Polaris is hoping to rapidly expand the market by local production of its models in China.

This month, Polaris is going to convene its 32 most important managers around the world to China to learn more about the Chinese market, hoping this will enable them to put more investments in developing the Chinese market.

Polaris will first build five distributors in five cities in China to sell its existing products and then locally develop and make products that cater to Chinese customers.

Polaris didn't say whether it will cooperate with BAM in manufacturing cars, only say that BAM is a very ideal partner and it may be more open in selecting partners in the future.
