Gasgoo (Shanghai, October 11) CH-Auto Technology has gotten governmental approval for annual production of 50 thousands units of green passenger vehicles since October 10, which has made it the third automaker qualified to produce green passenger vehicles in China.
And the other two are BAIC BJEV and Changjiang EV.
All of these green vehicles may be produced in Qiantu Motor, one of subsidiaries of CH-Auto Technology.
And now trial production of samples for engineering certification has been launched in the company. Expectedly, there may be not less than 100 units of green vehicles of different functions to be produced during the trial production.
Based on its planning, the first mode the company may put into mass production is K50, which is double-seat SUV of high quality. And K50 has debuted on the 2016 Beijing Auto Show in 2016 and may be brought to market in 2017.
Plants of Qiantu, based in Suzou City, have an area of 230 thousand square meters. Investment may be 2 billion RMB in the first phase. Planning production capability is 50 thousand units.
