Shanghai October 11 (Gasgoo.com) Mercedes-Benz's super-luxury car brand, a new generation Maybach was recently launched in Beijing. Until now, the German automaker has received tons of orders for the new Maybach models, and China has meanwhile become Maybach's second largest market, SouthCN.com reported Monday.
Four Maybach models are currently available in the Chinese market, including the Maybach 57, 62, 57S and 62S. Due to each Maybach being a unique creation, reflecting the individual style of its owner, the models' prices have not been announced yet.
The Maybach 57S and 62S for the Chinese market feature the same powerplant as the models for overseas markets: a twin-turbocharged 6.0L V12 engine that delivers maximum power of 463 kW.
Equipped with LED daytime running lights, front bumper, specially designed new paint and new wheels, along with a newly designed large chrome grille, the new generation Maybach has been greatly improved in luxury and comfort. The new Maybach that has been lengthened by 11 mm and widened by 17mm looks more elegant.
