Shanghai, July 8(Gasgoo.com) A source from Italian luxury sports-car maker Lamborghini revealed to the media that Lamborghini is expecting to sell 100 cars in China this year with a turnover above 300 million yuan ($44,313,000).
Apart from that, Lamborghini will add 4 retail dealers in China this year.
Data show that in 2009, Lamborghini delivered 80 vehicles to Chinese users, up 11% from a year earlier, each car priced above 3 million yuan,
In January this year, Lamborghini delivered 12 new cars to the Chinese users, doubled its sales from the same period last year.
China will become one of Lamborghini's top five markets "very soon," possibly as early as 2011, and overtake Italy as the second-biggest market (after the United States) for Lamborghini within about four years, CEO Stephan Winkelmann said in April at the 2010 Beijing auto show.
