Shanghai, October 26 (Gasgoo.com) Chongqing Lifan Automobile Co, Lifan Group's auto-making subsidiary, launched its collector's edition of the 320 model last week at the Hangzhou International Auto Expo, the Global Times reported. The model is priced at 39,800 yuan ($5,830).

Featured with a LF479Q3 1.3L engine which provides a maximum of 65kW power and 110Nm torque, the hatchback can run at a highest speed of 155km/h. The collector's edition of the 320 has many upgrades in its interior, suspension, shock absorber and brake system but is lower priced to target fashion-conscious young buyers.

The Lifan 320 prototype, which resembles a Mini Cooper, was officially launched at the 2009 Shanghai Auto Show in April. The Lifan 320, with four body colors for customers to choose, was priced at 48,800 yuan in the Chinese market.

The 5-door compact hatchback measures 3,755mm x 1,620 x 1,430mm in height on a 2340mm wheelbase. It may carry a 1.1L engine when it's mass-produced for the market.

Lifan began producing cars in late 2005 and has launched the Lifan 520 sedan and hatchback, and Lifan 620 sedan for domestic and overseas markets.

The Hangzhou International Auto Industry Exhibition kicked off on Oct. 22 at the Hangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center, in the provincial capital of Zhejian. About 3,600 vehicles may be presented at the show, which will run through today.
