Shanghai, April 24 (Gasgoo.com) FAW Haima Motor Co, a subsidiary of FAW, displays its self-developed Haima 3 and Fstar H1 (or Fushida-e) series at the Beijing Auto Show.
Haima 3 hatchback
Although it appears a little bit similar to the imported Mazda 3 hatchback, the Haima 3 has been designed solely by the company's in-house design studio based in Shanghai.
The car is to begin volume production by the end of this year and likely to be sold at a price lower than that of Mazda 3 by at least a third.
Haima 3 sports edition
The Haima 3 sports edition will go on sale right after the auto show. The model is designed by the Italian design company Studio Idea and built on Haima's H1 platform.
The sports Haima 3 will be sold for around 110,000 yuan ($15,759). Another Haima 3 CVT with automatic transmission will also go on sale by the end of this year.
Haima Fstar H1 electric version
The Fstar H1 electric version has electric-assisted steering. Batteries get fully charged in 4-5 hours; it's got energy brake recovery and it can run up to 100 km/h (62mph) and for 80 km (50 miles).
