Gasgoo.com (Shanghai April 13) - Top ten 2011 automobile manufacturer Hyundai Motor Group saw its global sales grow 13 percent last month, totaling 623,116 vehicles, China Business Times reported today. 127,939 of those sales were made in China, a full 40 percent higher than last March's figure. The manufacturer sold a total of 309,001 vehicles in China in the first quarter of the year, also increasing 11 percent from 2011.

Compared with last March's sales result of 55,300 units, the manufacturer's performance this year fell short by 12 percent. Ford sold a total of 120,000 vehicles in China in the first quarter of the year, 13.6 percent less than first quarter of 2011.
