Additionally, over 7,100 companies sent out a total of 13,386 applications for commercial vehicle allocation.

With 1.03 million vehicles produced and 1.01 million sold in 2010, Jiangsu's automobile market expanded about 50% from 2009. The figures represent 5.7% and 5.6% of the country's overall production and sales, respectively.
