Alternative Energy Vehicles List Downsizes; the Industry Embraces Healthy Development

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially issuedRecommended model list for Popularization and Application of Alternative Energy Vehicles on 14th January, containing 247 models. The old list has been abolished on 1st, January. In Cui Dongshu, General Secretary of CPCA’s view, it marks the alternative energy vehicles have developed into a regulated way during the “13th-five” period.

JAC exported about 292,000 vehicles during the period of ‘the Twelfth Five-year’

JAC exported 59,000 vehicles in 2015, up by 8.7% year-on-year. During the period of ‘the Twelfth Five-year’ (2010-2015), JAC had accumulative exported around 292,000 vehicles, which is 3.6 times higher compared with ‘the Eleventh Five-year’ (2005-2010), up by 256% year-on-year.

Still in loss, Qoros will launch a five-year alternative energy strategy

Qoros finally announced a future five-year alternative energy strategy on 18th, January. According to the plan, Qoros will launch the first generation of Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) and Blade Electric Vehicles (BEV) in 2017, and the second generation of PHEV and BEV based on GEV platform will be launched in 2020.
