Shanghai, June 25 (Gasgoo.com) Peugeot 407, the latest introduction of Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd. (DPCA), will be produced by the joint venture's platform 3, according to product development department of DPCA.
As Peugeot 407 is prepared for local production in China, the previous saying that Peugeot 407 and Peugeot 607 will not be produced locally has faded away.
The China-made Peugeot 407 is similar to the imported model in the exterior, configuration, and dimensions. It will be powered by a 3.0L V6 cylinder engine which generates 211hp and 290Nm and be mounted with the six-speed transmission "Tiptronic."
