Gasgoo.com (Shanghai June 14th)– In the first year of “13th-five” period, GAC is launching a new round of reform, including personnel adjustments and the acceleration of capital operation.
Currently, GAC and LETV establishes a joint-venture company, Dasheng Tech. Co. Ltd., with the first investment of RMB 1.4b and the first registered capital fund of RMB 200m, to promote the project implementation of Internet ecosystem. GAC is also launching another major project at the same time. Corporate announcement shows Act on GAC-Toyota 281B Project has been passed on the 25th meeting of the fourth term of Board. The total project investment will be RMB 1.53b, provided by shareholders, GAC and the corporate together.
It’s noticeable that the project is named by codes, for protecting secret information. Other people, except for person in charge, cannot touch the related information.
Apart from secretly investing some major projects, GAC and its subsidiaries are preparing for a big staff adjustment. Reporters learn that Yu Jun, the current Executive Vice President will transfer to General Manager of GAC Passenger Vehicle. Wu Song, General Manager of GAC Passenger Vehicle, will transfer to Vice President of GAC and Chairman Board of GAC Passenger Vehicle. Zheng Heng, Vice President of GAC Toyota will replace Yu Jun, and Yuan Xiaohua, the current Vice President of GAC Passenger Vehicle will take Zheng Heng’s position. No formal announcement has been published, but the staff change is expected to be finished in July,1st.
Previously, GAC has experienced many personnel changes, bringing vigor and promoting the group to move on. GAC Group, the sixth biggest domestic auto group, is taking efforts to achieve the “13th-five” target.
