Shanghai August 16 (Gasgoo.com) Tata Motors Ltd., India's largest vehicles maker, is currently holding talks with its joint venture partners on setting up production lines in China, media reported Monday.

Tata will first put the Land Rover model into production in the Chinese assembly line, which is expected to have an annual capacity of up to 40,000 units.

For the three months ending 30 June 2010, the Indian automaker said its sales revenues had grown by 64.2% year on year from 164.7 billion rupees ($3.55 billion) to 270.6 billion rupees.
