Pending favorable conditions, the collaboration will move toward pilot programs within Honda Trading's supply chain, with an eye on scaling proven use cases and accelerating real-world industrial adoption of embodied intelligence.

The partnership leverages Honda Trading's deep experience in managing manufacturing supply chains, combining it with UBTECH's robotics capabilities. Collaboration will center on application research, scenario validation, and deployment models for humanoid robots and driverless logistics systems. The agreement effectively opens up Honda Trading's supply network as a testing ground for UBTECH's Walker-series humanoid robots, providing access to a range of real industrial use cases.

Beyond pilot deployments, the two companies plan to deepen cooperation in areas such as commercialization of humanoid robots, regional distribution of industrial mobile robots and autonomous delivery vehicles, and joint technology development. With a clear focus on automotive and adjacent manufacturing sectors, the partnership aims to better align robotics innovation with practical industrial needs, improving system-wide efficiency. Both sides also intend to exchange insights on market trends and co-develop next-generation smart manufacturing frameworks, broadening the scope of collaboration over time.

Honda Trading (China) serves as the Chinese headquarters of Honda Trading Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Honda Motor.
