1.79m Chinese-made vehicles sold in November

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai December 11) - The latest statistics released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers reveal that both production and sales amounts of Chinese-made vehicles have increased in November. According to CAAM statistics cited by the Beijing Youth Daily, monthly domestically manufactured automobile production and sales figures totaled 1.76 million units and 1.79 million units, respectively. The figures are 10.99 percent and 11.52 percent higher than numbers reported in October. They represented year-on-year growth of 3.92 percent and 8.16 percent, respectively.

The CAAM predicts both total annual production and sales figures for domestically-made automobiles to exceed 19 million units this year. Nearly 1.75 million Chinese vehicles were manufactured and sold from January to November, four percent greater than similar figures from the first eleven months of 2011.
