As a facelifted model, the AION i60 retains the previous model’s exterior design. It measures 4,685 mm in length, 1,854 mm (1,876 mm) in width and 1,660 mm (1,690 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm. The front end features a closed-off grille, a full-width lighting unit and upswept headlights, while the rear adopts dual-layer full-width taillights and an illuminated AION badge.
The interior layout remains largely unchanged, featuring a wraparound cockpit design. The most notable update is the larger 15.6-inch central display.
Interior and storage space remain key features of the i60, while equipment includes massage, ventilation, heating and memory functions, as well as a heated steering wheel. The rear seats support continuously adjustable backrest angles, while a panoramic glass roof is also available.

BEV variants

The BEV lineup comprises five variants: the 530 CATL Standard Edition, 520 CATL Edition, 520 CATL LiDAR Edition, 700 Long-Range Edition and 700 LiDAR Edition.
The 520 variants are newly added to the lineup and use complete battery packs supplied by CATL. The 700 variants feature GAC’s Magazine Battery 2.0 technology, with a battery capacity of 77.65 kWh.
The 520 CATL Edition adds a 66-liter drainable front trunk, cloud-based remote viewing for Sentry Mode, integrated driving and parking assistance, a 15.6-inch 2.5K central display, an electrically adjustable front passenger seat, and a power tailgate with memory function. It also gains underbody protection, while its electric drive system has been upgraded with an amorphous-alloy motor. Energy consumption is rated at 12.3 kWh/100 km.
The 520 CATL LiDAR Edition is equipped with a 192-line high-resolution LiDAR sensor and Qualcomm’s 8650 chip. It uses WeRide’s end-to-end large-model driver assistance solution and supports Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) in complex scenarios including highways, urban roads and rural roads. It also supports memory parking and parking in narrow spaces.
Other additions include direct tire-pressure monitoring, automatic braking to prevent rear collisions and upgraded 18-inch wheels.
In addition to their longer driving range, the 700-range variants receive further equipment upgrades, including acoustic glass for the front doors and an in-vehicle projector.

REEV variant

The REEV version uses Huawei’s DriveONE electric drive system and features an iTRACK intelligent torque control system. It has a 45.368-kWh battery, with its battery-powered driving range increased to 350 km. Its combined range reaches up to 1,738 km, while fuel consumption under the CLTC cycle with a depleted battery is rated at 3.6 L/100 km.
In terms of equipment, the range-extended version includes the new features offered on the battery-electric variants, while adding ventilation, heating, massage and memory functions for both front seats, 50W wireless charging, acoustic front-door glass, an active grille, multi-color ambient lighting, a small rear table behind the front passenger seat and an in-vehicle projector.
The charging ports have also been relocated to the rear across the entire lineup.

Summary

The AION i60 targets the RMB 100,000-plus segment and offers both BEV and REEV powertrains. The model is positioned toward family buyers seeking a balance of safety, interior space and driving range. Following its launch, it will compete with similarly priced models such as the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 and Leapmotor C10.
